On April 20, Noi Bai International Airport recommends passengers to pay attention to travel plans when the airport applies level 1 enhanced security control measures during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
In order to ensure security and safety of air transport activities during peak periods (from April 29 to May 4), Noi Bai International Airport implements level 1 enhanced security control measures.
For a safe and smooth journey, the airport recommends:
During peak seasons, the number of passengers increases, tightening the scanning process may prolong check-in time. Passengers should be present at the airport for at least 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights before departure time.
According to level 1 regulations, the rate of random visual inspection of people and luggage is higher than usual. Passengers need to be patient and cooperate according to the instructions of security personnel.
Passengers need to preserve their luggage themselves, absolutely do not accept to keep things of strangers. When discovering ownerless luggage or unusual signs, it is necessary to immediately notify the airline staff or the nearest functional force.
Currently, aviation security has 3 levels of reinforcement (level 1, 2 and 3). In which, level 1 is a proactive vigilance level, applied during major holidays or important events. This is not an emergency situation but a preventive measure to tighten security and ensure passenger safety when traffic volume increases.
