A series of inland waterway wharves in Da Nang were granted investment licenses after merging with Quang Nam.

On July 15, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had just issued a decision approving the investment policy for the inland waterway tourism investment project. The project has a total investment of more than 10,000 billion VND, building 20 tourist wharves along the rivers.

The project is being implemented along major rivers in Da Nang city such as Han River, Vinh Dien, Co Co and Cam Le... The goal of the project is to invest in building new and renovating 20 inland waterway wharves. Each wharf is invested in building parks, auxiliary works, parking lots, waiting rooms, ticket checking houses and entertainment areas behind the wharf. This project integrates cultural activities such as light shows, organizing art shows on the river to create night highlights, attract tourists and enhance the experience.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City allows investors to purchase passenger ships of the type of 100 to 500 people, using clean fuel and green energy, meeting environmentally friendly standards and in accordance with the clearance height of bridges across the river.

The project has a total investment of more than VND 9,881 billion, of which the investor's capital contribution is more than VND 1,482 billion, the remaining VND 8,399 billion will be mobilized from other legal sources.

The project's operation period lasts 50 years, from the date the investor is allocated land or leased land. The project implementation progress is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 (20252030) will build 7 inland waterway wharves along the Han River, from Thuan Phuoc Bridge to Tien Son Bridge; Phase 2 (20282031) will build 9 wharves along the Vinh Dien and Co Co rivers and 4 wharves along the Cam Le River.
