Initial information, the traffic accident between two motorbikes occurred on Hung Vuong street, passing through Da Teh commune (Lam Dong), at about 3 pm on February 16 (30th Tet).
At the above time, a motorbike with license plate 36D1-462. 45 driven by Mr. Dao Van Trong (25 years old, residing in Da Teh 3 commune, Lam Dong) was traveling on Hung Vuong street in the direction from Da Teh commune to Da Teh 3 commune.
When reaching the section passing through the center of Da Teh commune, Mr. Trong's car collided with a motorbike with license plate 72E1-116. 07 driven by Mr. Hoang Phu Quy (37 years old, residing in Da Teh commune, Lam Dong), traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident killed Mr. Quy on the spot. Mr. Trong was taken to Da Huoai Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment but later died due to severe injuries. Two motorbikes were heavily damaged.
Immediately after the accident occurred, functional forces of Lam Dong province and Da Teh commune were present to protect the scene, regulate traffic; and at the same time examine the scene, investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
Currently, the cause of the serious traffic accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
