The accident happened at about 11 am on February 11 on DT 742 road, passing through Vinh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to initial information, at the above time, the woman was driving a motorbike on DT 742 road, in the direction from Binh Duong ward to Phu Giao commune.
When reaching the section belonging to Vinh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the motorbike collided with a truck. After the collision, the motorbike fell to the road, and the woman died on the spot.
The deceased victim was identified as L.B. T (born in 1978, from Dong Nai province). The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
According to reporters' records, DT 742 road - where the accident occurred - is narrow, with only 1 lane in each direction. The road has no sidewalks. This is a route that many people choose as a direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai (former Binh Phuoc) and vice versa. The traffic volume on this road every day is very large. When two cars avoid each other, motorbikes have to pull over to the side, many collisions have occurred on this road.
