On the afternoon of March 22, functional forces of Nghe An province are investigating and clarifying the cause of a serious traffic accident that occurred on National Highway 1A, killing 1 person and injuring 2 others.
According to initial information, at about 10:41 am on the same day, a 7-seater car with license plate 37K-677. xx was traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Nghe An. When it reached the "Coc market intersection" area (An Thinh hamlet, An Chau commune), it suddenly collided with a Howo truck with license plate 29K-017. xx traveling in the same direction.
The strong collision caused the truck to continue to collide with another truck moving in the opposite direction.
As a result, the driver of the Howo truck died at the scene. Two other injured people were quickly taken to the emergency room by people and functional forces.
Immediately after the incident occurred, local authorities and An Chau commune police force were present, coordinating to divert traffic, protect the scene and support taking the victims to the hospital.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
