Initial information, at 3:15 p.m. on February 4, on the North-South railway line through Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, a train collided with a motorbike, killing the motorcyclist on the spot.
At that time, at the railway crossing in lane 15 Ngoc Hoi, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district, the North-South passenger train on its way from Van Dien station to Giap Bat station collided with a middle-aged man riding a motorbike with license plate 29HB-007.95. At that time, the motorcyclist was crossing the railway from Giai Phong street turning into the lane.
The collision threw the motorbike and its driver dozens of meters away from the railway and road intersection. The entire scene of the incident is located within the railway safety corridor, the area inside the fence separating the railway from Giai Phong Street.
Initial information shows that the deceased victim was Mr. N.M.C (born in 1984 in Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi). Mr. N.M.C was on his way to his father's house, Mr. D., in lane 825, Giai Phong street. Currently, the authorities have contacted Mr. N.M.C's family to coordinate the investigation.
It is known that the railway intersection area with the level crossings in Hoang Mai district and Thanh Tri district, about 10km long, has installed a warning system when trains pass.
