In order to ensure the best service to people's travel needs during the 2026 New Year holiday, units under Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) have seriously implemented and effectively implemented the directives and plans of the City People's Committee and Hanoi Department of Construction. As a result, the goals set out in the passenger service plan have been basically completed, including transportation volume, number of bus trips, passenger service, vehicle parking at bus stations and parking spots; security and social order are ensured, service quality is maintained, and passenger satisfaction is well met.
For public passenger transport activities, the work of developing plans and coordinating to deploy services during the holidays between units is carried out synchronously and effectively. Public passenger transport activities by bus of the Corporation take place stably, smoothly, and promptly to meet the travel needs of the people.
In the field of bus stations and parking spots, Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center and affiliated stations have closely coordinated with functional agencies, strengthened inspection and supervision of vehicles after departure, and minimized the situation of stopping and parking in violation of regulations and vehicles going around.
Vehicles departing from the station all strictly comply with regulations on transportation activities, ensuring traffic safety; the work of controlling fares and off-route fares is carried out strictly and promptly to prevent the situation of collecting fares higher than the registered level. Thanks to proactive coordination and service organization, bus stations basically did not experience passenger congestion, creating favorable conditions for passengers passing through the station to use safe and civilized services.
Hanoi Parking Point Exploitation Company has organized duty at 148 bus stations and parking spots in the area, arranging 413 officials and employees to serve 24/24h, well meeting the increasing demand for parking during holidays.
Results of service during the New Year holiday 2026, from January 1, 2026 to January 4, 2026, the Corporation's bus units have completed a total of 35,489 trips, serving 245,532 passenger trips.
At bus stations belonging to Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center, the total number of bus trips served reached 8,979 trips, of which 402 trips were increased, meeting the travel needs of 66,185 passengers.
Vehicle parking reached 82,000 vehicles, including 67,600 cars and 14,400 motorbikes.
