Voters of Thuong Tin commune have recently proposed that Hanoi City direct units to promptly implement procedures to build a southern bus station, the expected location is located at the border of Thuong Tin commune and Hong Van commune (the border of Duyen Thai commune and the old Van Binh commune) and has a planned location adjacent to the North of Ring Road 4 to contribute to promoting regional linkages, creating momentum for the socio-economic development of the region and changing the appearance of the southern gateway of the capital.
Regarding this, the Hanoi People's Committee said that according to the plan, there will be 1 bus station adjacent to National Highway 1A, west of Ring Road 4 (after Bach Khoa College) within the boundary of Thuong Tin commune and Hong Van commune (border of Duyen Thai commune and the old Van Binh commune).
The Department of Construction (old Department of Transport) agreed to study investment as well as supplement the planning of new bus stations to meet the new socio-economic development orientations of the locality as well as develop related types of services as a driving force to promote the local economy.
The People's Committees of Thuong Tin and Hong Van communes need to proactively coordinate and coordinate with relevant departments such as Planning - Architecture, Finance, and Construction in reviewing and evaluating planning, status, and calculating capacity forecasts to come up with a scale and investment timing in accordance with the urban development process as a basis for reporting to the City People's Committee for consideration and approval of investment in the above bus station.
