Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang and leaders of relevant departments, branches and units will continue to inspect the progress of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Project, Phase 1 (Component Project 1) on September 13.
Through the inspection, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested relevant units to closely coordinate in project implementation, ensuring the set progress; developing detailed construction progress for each part; focusing equipment and human resources, dividing into many independent construction teams each part to ensure technical traffic opening by the end of this year.
Regarding the road, the sections have met technical requirements, Mr. Quang requested the contractor to focus on equipment to carry out the unloading, and at the same time focus on completing the bridge and culvert. The provincial chairman requested to speed up the progress of stone gathering to the construction site to serve the construction of the road surface.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Dong Thap will continue to accompany and support construction units in terms of capital and remove difficulties in terms of stone materials in the coming time; assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review and advise the province to handle and transfer the excess sand of the expressway after unloading.
The Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Project (component project 1) is about 16 km long, with a total investment of more than VND 3,600 billion, to date, the project has reached a progress of over 66%. The investor, the Provincial Project Management Board, and contractors are urgently completing the items to ensure technical traffic opening by the end of this year and completing the project in the first quarter of next year.
Previously, on September 5, at a meeting with members of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project, phase 1, Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong also requested relevant units to focus highly, proactively remove difficulties, and ensure the project's progress is in accordance with the set goals.
Regarding construction materials, the Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee directed to speed up sand exploitation, carefully study the source of unloaded sand; Regarding the source of stone materials, proactively work with relevant units to ensure sufficient supply for the project, calculate solutions to meet the stone demand for component project 2.
