The investment project to build the Ring Road 2.5 from Nguyen Trai Street (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong is about 1.5km long, starting point connecting with Nguyen Trai Street (Thuong Dinh Ward), ending point at Dam Hong (Khuong Dinh Ward).
According to the plan, the road has a cross-section of 40m, a road surface width of 22.5m; a sidewalk width of 14.5m; a median strip width of 3m.
This is a group A project with a total investment of nearly VND 2,600 billion, invested by Thanh Xuan District People's Committee. The implementation period is from 2022 to 2026.
To implement the project, Thanh Xuan District will reclaim and clear 60,902.1m2 of land. To date, Thanh Xuan District has completed the investigation, survey, measurement, and inventory of land and assets attached to land for 704/704 cases (687 households and 17 organizations).
At the meeting with voters on site clearance for the investment project to build the Ring Road 2.5 on April 17, representatives of voters of wards within the site clearance area said they were ready to hand over the site for the project, in order to reduce traffic congestion and increase connectivity in the area.
However, voters also recommended and hoped that the authorities would guide and confirm the origin of the land when households no longer have relevant documents; consider and have a compensation plan for the new settlement with conditions equal to or better than the previous settlement.
Voters recommended that households with small areas and difficult circumstances should also be arranged resettlement accommodation to hand over the site for the project.
Voters recommend that after reclaiming land to implement the Ring Road 2.5 project, competent authorities issue land use right certificates to families with remaining residential land areas that meet the prescribed conditions.
Speaking to receive voters' recommendations, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Xuan District Nguyen Minh Tien affirmed that this is a meeting with voters to promote the role of the District People's Council in promptly receiving and resolving voters' legitimate opinions, aspirations and recommendations.
Especially issues related to legitimate rights and interests, directly affecting people's lives such as site clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement.
To continue to speed up the project's site clearance progress, the Standing Committee of Thanh Xuan District People's Council requested the District People's Committee and People's Committees of relevant wards to focus on determining land prices; issuing land reclamation notices; developing compensation, support and resettlement plans... to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations of law.
At the same time, proactively coordinate with the city's departments, branches and sectors to promptly resolve difficulties, problems, inadequacies and policies to ensure the rights of households when their land is recovered to implement the project.
