The project of upgrading and renovating Highway 6 (section of Ba La - Xuan Mai) was started at the end of 2022. The project has a total length of about 21.7 km (the section passing Ha Dong district is 5.92km long; the section passing Chuong My district is 15.87km long).
In Ha Dong district, the total land area of the project is about 26.46 hectares, related to 1,146 households and individuals. The number of households plans to arrange resettlement is about 317 households.
Bien Giang ward area has 360 land plots; Yen Nghia ward 378 land plots; Dong Mai ward 266 land plots; Phu Lam ward 56 land plots and Phu La ward have 6 plots of land within the boundary, only land acquisition.
Up to now, the Management Board of Ha Dong District Construction Investment Project has coordinated with the People's Committees of wards with land with land withdrawal to complete the measurement work in the field; Working with the Hanoi Land Registration Office, People's Committees of wards with land were recovered to implement the project to unify the measurement dossier.

In Chuong My district, the locality has handed over the ground to the investor and the contractor with an area of about 57.58ha, reaching 67.45% (public land and agricultural land) to implement the project construction.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Chuong My District, this project in the area still has problems with the confirmation of the origin of the land, the application of the site clearance policy mechanism to transitional from the 2013 Land Law to the Land Law 2024.
