On the morning of January 11, Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police) - said that they had extracted camera footage to track down and fine a dump truck carrying soil that spilled onto National Highway 1, causing traffic unsafety.
People reflect through the hotline about the situation of soil and rocks scattered on the road surface at Km1709+400, the section passing through Tuyen Quang commune.

Recorded at the scene, rocks and soil stretched about 300m, occupying almost the entire lane of traffic. Many vehicles had to slow down to avoid, some trucks ran over a large rock and were forced to stop in the middle of the road for handling.
Immediately after receiving the news, the patrol team of Traffic Police Team No. 3 arrived at the scene, placed warning signs, and diverted traffic.
At the same time, coordinate with the commune police and people to clear spilled soil and rocks to ensure safety for vehicles passing through.

At the same time, functional forces extracted camera footage to verify violating vehicles.
Through investigation, the Traffic Police determined that the dump truck causing the incident was license plate 86C-175.xx. The driver of the vehicle, Mr. N.T.N (born in 1975, residing in Phan Thiet ward), was invited to work.

The Traffic Police have made a record of administrative violation against the driver for the act of "carrying soil and rocks to spill on the road". According to Point a, Clause 2, Article 17 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, this act is fined from 2 to 3 million VND.
