At the end of April and early May 2026, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee conducted surveys, assessments, and plans for the planned new road from the center of Son Thuy commune to Kim Xuyen bridge, Hong Son commune.
According to the investment plan, the road is about 21km long, invested in 2 phases, site clearance is completed on a complete scale.
Phase 1, from 2026-2030 with a roadbed width of 25m, road surface width of 14m, standard level 3 delta.
Phase 2, after 2035, complete investment on a scale of 4 lanes, 21m wide road surface, with a median strip.

The total estimated investment of the road, including both phases, is about more than 5,700 billion VND.
This is an important transportation project connecting southern communes of Tuyen Quang province, promoting the development of clusters and industrial parks, creating local jobs for local workers.

Also in April, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee worked with investors to propose building a 64km long road connecting from Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (Thai Hoa commune intersection) to the ending point in the Na Hang lake area, Na Hang commune.
The project has a total estimated investment of about 15,000 billion VND and is proposed to be implemented in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
This road plays an important role in helping to complete traffic infrastructure in the highland communes and is also the key to opening the way to the "core" of Na Hang - Lam Binh eco-tourism, an area that is considered a natural treasure of the northern mountains but has not been exploited to its full potential due to connection difficulties.

In addition, the formation of this traffic axis will create a blood vessel connecting throughout from the key expressway straight to the most potential areas of Tuyen Quang province, significantly shortening travel time, creating favorable conditions for the formation of new growth poles around the ecological lake.
Leaders of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee have requested relevant units to continue to clarify the contents of conformity with the overall plan of the province, the capital mobilization mechanism and assessments of long-term socio-economic efficiency.
At the same time, strict appraisal to ensure that the project has high feasibility, avoiding ineffective investment or causing unwanted impacts on the environment.
