Hoa Binh - On the evening of December 3, Hoa Binh Provincial Police informed that they had initially determined the causes of two traffic accidents on National Highway 12B and National Highway 6 that killed 6 young people.

Accordingly, the first serious traffic accident occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on December 1, at Km 92 National Highway 12B (Tan Lac welcome gate) in Tan Phong area, Man Duc town, Tan Lac district.

At this time, the tractor truck with license plate 19H-040.06 pulling a trailer with license plate 18R-018.36, driven by Pham Tien Hai (born in 1981, residing in Phong Chau town, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho province), was traveling in the direction of Hoa Binh city - Lac Son.

When arriving at Tan Lac gate, an accident occurred with a motorbike without a license plate, with 3 people on it (driver unknown) moving in the opposite direction. As a result, all 3 people on the motorbike died.

The victims' identities include: Bui Xuan Thuong (2007), Bui Van Anh (2008) and Bui Van Tap (2005); all three reside at: Tam 1 Hamlet, Thanh Hoi Commune, Tan Lac District.

According to the police, the results of the scene investigation and autopsy determined that the initial cause was due to the tractor-trailer not going to the right in the direction of travel (encroaching on the oncoming lane by about 1.3 m), causing the traffic accident.

Preliminary test of driver Pham Tien Hai showed no alcohol concentration and negative for drugs.

The second incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on December 2, at Km 110+77 National Highway 6 in Trong Phu hamlet, Phong Phu, Tan Lac. At that time, the passenger car with license plate 27B - 001.06 (Quynh Hung bus company) driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Dung (born in 1982, residing in Noong Het commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien) was traveling from Son La to Hanoi.

When arriving at the above location, the passenger car collided with a motorbike with license plate 28E1-160.57 with 3 people on board, traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident killed all three people on the motorbike.

The victims' identities include: Dinh Cong Hien (2006) and Dinh Cong Hieu (2006), both residing in Khoi hamlet, Phu Cuong, Tan Lac. The remaining victim is Dinh Van Huy (2007, residing in Liem hamlet, Suoi Hoa, Tan Lac).

According to the Hoa Binh Provincial Police, through the examination of the scene and the traces left at the scene, the authorities initially determined that the passenger bus driver Nguyen Van Dung had recklessly overtaken and driven on the wrong side of the road (going completely into the lane reserved for oncoming vehicles), causing the accident.

Test determined that driver Nguyen Van Dung had no alcohol concentration and was negative for drugs.

Previously, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Lac District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case of "Violating regulations on road traffic participation"; temporarily detaining 2 car drivers in 2 traffic accidents that killed 6 people.
