The Hanoi Department of Construction requested to urgently reduce the area of barriers at construction sites of the urban railway project, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station section.

The Hanoi Department of Construction has just issued document No. 17808/ SXD-KCHTGT, requesting the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board to urgently remove barriers at construction sites to reduce the risk of traffic congestion.

Accordingly, based on the report of the leaders of the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board at the working session on the afternoon of December 15, this unit was proposed to immediately implement the narrowing of the barrier area to widen the roadway in the construction areas of package No. 3, Hanoi pilot urban railway project, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station section.

At S9 station (Kim Ma street), barriers will be reduced on sections from Thu Le lake to Nguyen Van Ngoc nut, opposite 30,4 Kim Ma and Kim Ma - Lieu Giai section, to be completed in December 2025. The Kim Ma - Nui Truc nut escape well area will be cut with sidewalks, connecting the road surface, completed before January 15, 2026.

At S10 Station (Cat Linh), S11 Station (Quoc Tu Giam) and S12 Station area on Tran Hung Dao Street, the barrier is also required to be narrowed from 14.5m to expand the traffic area, to be completed before December 22, 2025.

The Department of Construction requested the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board to coordinate with contractors to develop a detailed plan on progress and traffic organization, and send it to the Department before December 17, 2025 for implementation.
