VGA junior tour golf tournament 2025 attracts a large number of foreign athletes

Vietnamese young golfers have the opportunity to compete with many opponents from countries and territories in Asia at the VGA junior tour 2025 - The international final leg.

This year's final round will be held at Hai Phong from December 26 to 28. The organizing committee said that in addition to the host golfer Vietnam, representatives from China, Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Myanmar, Taiwan (China), Mongolia and South Korea have registered to attend.

According to the regulations, golfers will compete in the first round of the groups on December 26.

Next, the rounds take place. The final round of the U13, U15, U18 men's and women's groups will be held on December 28. Previously, the U8-9 and U11 men's and women's teams will have their final results calculated on December 27.

The tournament is open to amateur male and female golfers according to the Law on Excess Sports as regulated by R&A rules Limited and USGA. Athletes will be divided into regions according to group registration depending on age.

The tournament will not apply qualifying. The groups of golfers aged 13 and over will compete with sticks through 3 rounds (54 holes) to calculate the final points. For groups with golf players younger than 13 years old, the club will play with a stick through 2 rounds (36 holes). In particular, the U8-9 group will apply the maximum score for each hole of quadruple bogey (+4 sticks per hole) according to regulations.

The presence of many international young golfers helps Vietnamese golfers have more opportunities to improve their skills. The official list of golfers participating in the tournament will be announced right before the competition.
