Vietnamese golfers are praised for their competition results at the 33rd SEA Games

Members of the Vietnamese golf team returned home after competing in the 33rd SEA Games and received many compliments from the management level.

On December 15, golfers of the Vietnam Golf Team arrived in Hanoi after the competition of the 33rd SEA Games. Representatives of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Golf Association arrived at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) to welcome the returning group.

During the meeting to welcome members competing effectively from the 33rd SEA Games onwards, the management level assessed that each medal had brought positive signals to Vietnamese golf in Southeast Asia as well as in future arenas.

At the 33rd SEA Games, we won 1 silver medal from Nguyen Anh Minh (men's individual), 1 bronze medal from Le Chuc An (women's individual) and 1 bronze medal (men's team). This is the first time the Vietnam Golf Team has won medals in both men's and women's individual events at the same time at the SEA Games.

Previously, General Secretary of the Vietnam Golf Association - Mr. Vu Nguyen respectfully sent his congratulations to the members of the Vietnam Golf Team for their medal results at the 33rd SEA Games. This is an effort in professional preparation as well as a determination to compete to bring glory to the Fatherland.

Thus, in 2 consecutive SEA Games, the 32nd and 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Golf Team won medals to affirm their position.
