Vietnam golf team acquaints with the 33rd SEA Games stadium 5 days in advance

Members of the Vietnamese golf team have gone to Thailand to get acquainted with the competition field before competing in the 33rd SEA Games.

Today, December 6, a member of the Vietnam Golf Team participating in the 33rd SEA Games left for Thailand. The golf course of the 33rd SEA Games will take place at Siam Country Club - Rolling Hill in Chonburi (Thailand) from December 11 to December 14.

Vietnamese golfers arrived 5 days early to get acquainted with the course terrain. At this tournament, the Vietnam Golf Team will not have the 32nd SEA Games champion, Le Khanh Hung.

However, the squad of 7 players has been officially registered, including Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Anh Minh (male) and Le Nguyen Minh Anh, Le Chuc An, Nguyen Viet Gia Han (female).

Forecast of expertise for the 33rd SEA Games, Vietnam golf team leader - Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong believes that Vietnamese golfers with young age and professional prospects will compete with the highest effort.

We really hope that the Vietnam Golf Team will be in 1 of 3 leading countries in the men's team event at the 33rd SEA Games, Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong shared with the media.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong also affirmed that the host team Thailand golf will be a formidable opponent because the players will play at home and have many highly skilled faces. The teams of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines also have the best athletes to the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the plan, golfer Nguyen Anh Minh, who is studying in the US, will travel directly to Thailand to join his teammates and compete in the 33rd SEA Games.

With the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Golf Team aims to strive to win 1 gold medal.
