Vietnamese sports registered to participate in golf at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival.
The Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and national teams continue to review the force to register the official list of athletes participating in the Games to be held in Bahrain from October 22 to October 31, during the working session on August 21.
The Vietnamese golf team will send the best force to participate in the AyG 2025.
It is expected that golfers Nguyen Anh Minh and Le Chuc An will be named in the squad.
However, the list of reviewed cases has not been officially decided. The golf program of the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival will organize four events including men's individual, women's individual, men's team, and women's team.
Currently, Nguyen Anh Minh is competing in tournaments in the US while Le Chuc An is participating in the 2025 National Championship in Gia Lai.
On the world amateur golf rankings, Nguyen Anh Minh has increased by a step to be ranked 36th in the men's event. In the women's amateur rankings, Le Chuc An was increased by three places to rank 273rd in the world.
The last time the Asian Youth Sports Festival took place was in 2013 in China. The Vietnam golf team had athletes Nguyen Thao My, Truong Chi Quan, Dao Phuc Hung participating but did not win any medals.
