The organizers of the Vietnam Masters 2026 Golf Tournament have announced the competition schedule.
This year's tournament is held at Royal Long An Golf & Country Club (Tay Ninh) from March 15 to March 19.
Last year, the champion of the 2025 Vietnam Masters Golf Tournament was Sarut Vongchaisit (Thailand) and the runner-up was Nguyen Tuan Anh of the host Vietnam. This year, Nguyen Tuan Anh has confirmed his plan to return to the tournament to find opportunities to achieve the best results.
Vietnam Masters 2026 is a tournament organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in coordination with the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and the Asian Development Tour (ADT).
This year's tournament is expected to attract 138 golfers to compete in 54 holes in 3 rounds. After 2 rounds (36 holes), the Organizing Committee will cut out to select 50 people with the best results to continue. The golf champion will be the person with the lowest total real points (gross) on the final day of the tournament.
Nguyen Tuan Anh is currently one of the young golfers with the highest level in Vietnam. In 2025, Tuan Anh participated in 2 major arenas, the 2025 Asian Youth Games and the 33rd SEA Games. This golfer won individual silver and team silver medals at the 2025 Asian Youth Games. In addition, Tuan Anh won a men's team bronze medal at the 33rd SEA Games.
The Vietnam Masters golf tournament started in 2017. The last time host Vietnam had a golfer champion of this tournament was in 2023. At that time, Nguyen Anh Minh won the Vietnam Masters 2023.
