The 2026 Asian-Pacific Amateur Women's Golf Championship (WAAP) is held from February 12 to 15 in New Zealand. Le Chuc An is the only representative of Vietnamese golf to participate in this competition.
With the announced schedule, Le Chuc An will be home in time on February 16th (December 29th of the lunar calendar). Thus, the Vietnamese female golfer will not have to celebrate Tet away from home this year.
Le Chuc An has just made history by rising 6 places to reach the 160th position in the world amateur women's golf rankings. For the first time, Vietnam has a female golfer in the top 160 of the world.
The Asian-Pacific Amateur Women's Golf Championship is a tournament that attracts many qualified golfers to participate. This is the 3rd time Le Chuc An has been awarded a slot to participate in this tournament.
The first time competing in 2024, Le Chuc An did not pass the cut-off. In 2025, Le Chuc An competed in the tournament and reached the T30 position on the women's individual rankings.
Currently, Le Chuc An is in stable form, so he is believed to be able to achieve good results this year.
Le Chuc An just participated in the Trang An International Pathway Series 2026 international tournament held in Ninh Binh. This female golfer won the women's group championship.
This is Le Chuc An's first championship result in the above tournament and the Trang An - AJGA International Pathway Series 2026 tournament is part of the system organized by the American Youth Golf Association.
