The tournament is within the framework of the Tuoi Tre Startup Award 2024 Project organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Vietnam Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Startup Support Center (BSSC), Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam).
The event aims to create a meaningful playground, encouraging the spirit of startups; as well as creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs to interact with golfers who are famous businessmen.
Continuing the success of previous seasons, this year's inspirational golf tournament attracted nearly 150 golfers to compete at Long Thanh Golf Course, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai with a total prize of nearly 5 billion VND.
In addition to the main prizes, the tournament also has HIO prizes (1 hole-in-one): 1 XC60 Recharge car, worth nearly 2.9 billion VND; Fourteen golf club set worth 130 million VND; Daiwa 4-star golf club set worth 400 million VND.
Besides the main activity of the golf tournament, there are also other attractive sideline activities, especially the exhibition area of typical startups such as: PlasticPeople - a startup that recycles plastic waste, AirXCoffee - a manufacturer of finished products from coffee grounds, coconut leaf straws, recycled bricks...
The Tuoi Tre Golf Tournament is part of the Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 project, with the theme “Green Startup Inspiration”. This year’s award prioritizes environmentally friendly startup ideas, models, solutions, and products that create practical values for the community, thereby contributing to the rapid promotion of the circular economy, towards the government’s goal of reducing net emissions to zero by 2050.
