On the afternoon of December 28, the VGA junior tour 2025 golf tournament officially closed and final results were determined at the arena in Hai Phong.
After 3 rounds, Kim Min Jun (Korea) won the championship with a total score of -14.
The number of sticks through the rounds of this golfer is 69-65-68 respectively. The score of -14 has been recognized as the best score of VGA junior tours to date. Previously, the person who achieved the best result ever was recognized as Le Chuc An in 2024 with a score of -12. This time, Le Chuc An's record was surpassed.
In the final round, Kim Min Jun played calmly to have 1 eagle and 3 birdies, mixed with 4 bogeys, in the pits. The 13-year-old Korean golfer deserved to be the champion of the tournament.
Besides this result, the Organizing Committee recognized other young golfers as champions in each group. In which, golfer Zhang Aoran (Malaysia) ranked first in the men's U13 group and golfer Vu Lan led the men's U15 group, Tran The Bao won the men's U18 group. In women's, golfer Nguyen Phuong Duong Phuong Anh won the U13 group and Nguyen Khanh Linh ranked first in the U18 group...
This year's tournament recorded more than 100 golfers participating. In addition to Vietnamese golfers, foreign athletes from China, Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Myanmar, Taiwan (China), Mongolia and South Korea also participated in the competition.
