The Vietnamese golf team aims to achieve the goal of winning 1 gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games to kick off in Thailand.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam Golf Team is carefully reviewing the final force, selecting the most suitable golfer to compete in the 33rd SEA Games to realize the goal of winning a gold medal.

According to the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), the Vietnam Golf Team will register a maximum of 7 golfers to compete in Thailand at the 33rd SEA Games.

2 years ago, we won 1 gold medal (Le Khanh Hung), 1 silver medal (men's team) and 1 bronze medal (Nguyen Anh Minh) at the 32nd SEA Games in 2023 in Cambodia.

Therefore, the goal of striving for a gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games is considered to have a basis for each golfer to strive for.

The difficulty is that Vietnamese golf has won a gold medal at the 32nd SEA Games, so the Vietnam Golf Team is no longer a mystery to its opponents.

Golfers from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines... are very focused on preparing for this tournament. Therefore, the competition for medals of the Vietnam Golf Team will be very fierce.

VGA has soon identified the faces that will receive tickets to the 33rd SEA Games from the National Amateur Championship (June 2025) as Le Chuc An, Anna Le (female) and Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy (male).

In addition to them, some faces in good form are also expected to receive official tickets to participate in the 33rd SEA Games such as Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung or Nguyen Tuan Anh.

In particular, Nguyen Tuan Anh won the 2025 national championship and the individual silver medal, the team silver medal at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival.
