On January 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Trung Hung commune (Can Tho City) said that the unit had just organized the handover ceremony of a charity house to Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc (Thanh Phu 2 hamlet, Trung Hung commune). This is a practical activity to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the National Congress of the VFF, term 2026 - 2031.
The house has an area of 48 m2, with a total construction cost of 60 million VND. Of which, 15 million VND is deducted from the "For the Poor" fund of Trung Hung commune, 30 million VND is mobilized by the locality from socialized sources, the rest of the family's response. In addition, the Trung Hung commune charity group also supports 150 working days, contributing to reducing construction costs and accelerating the completion progress of the house.
