On the afternoon of July 15, in Thanh Hoa commune (Can Tho City), the Conference to summarize the Front work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy the work program for the last 6 months of 2026 of Emulation Cluster No. VII took place.
In the first 6 months of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes in the Cluster has proactively innovated the content and methods of propaganda in a practical and effective direction, closely following the political tasks of the locality and important events of the country.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation clearly stated that, besides the achieved results, it is necessary to frankly recognize some limitations.
According to Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, the innovation of content and methods of operation in some places is still slow; the quality of grasping the people's situation is not really thorough; some good models have not been replicated; the application of digital transformation is still limited; the activities of the Fatherland Front Work Committee in some residential areas after arrangement are not really uniform, and there is still confusion in organizing the implementation of tasks.
The last 6 months of the year are a decisive period for completing the targets and tasks of 2026, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City proposed to continue to strongly innovate propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people.
Proactively grasp the public opinion situation, listen to the opinions, thoughts, and legitimate aspirations of the People to promptly reflect to the Party committees and authorities, contributing to solving problems right from the grassroots level.
In particular, after arranging administrative units, it is necessary to pay more attention to residential areas and the Fatherland Front Work Committee.
This is a place to directly implement all policies of the Party and the State to the People, and also a place to truthfully reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people.
Whether the Front is strong or not, first of all, it must be strong from residential areas; the people's trust is also built from the specific actions of the Front Work Committee in each hamlet and each area," emphasized the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City.
In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City requested that it is necessary to promote digital transformation in the activities of the Front and socio-political organizations. According to Ms. Mai, digital transformation is not only about applying technology but also about innovating thinking and operating methods to serve the people more effectively.
