On April 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune coordinated with the Women's Union of Quoi An commune to organize a ceremony to hand over the repaired house to Ms. Le Thi Xe's household, residing in Phuoc Tho hamlet, Quoi An commune.
Ms. Le Thi Xe's family is a near-poor household, living in a dilapidated house for many years, not ensuring safety, especially during the rainy and storm season. Prolonged difficult conditions affect the family's life and activities.
Faced with that situation, the Commune Women's Union mobilized 10 million VND, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune deducted 20 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support the repair and upgrading of the house. Total support cost is 30 million VND.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quoi An commune handed over the house handover decision and sent congratulations to Ms. Le Thi Xe's family. Local authorities wish the family to soon stabilize their lives, feel secure in working and producing, and gradually rise out of poverty sustainably.
Ms. Le Thi Xe could not hide her joy when she was supported to repair her house that had been degraded for many years. Now that the local government and mass organizations are interested in supporting her, she is very excited, feeling warmer and more secure when she has a stable place to live.
The activity shows the spirit of mutual affection, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and taking care of social security in the locality.
