On April 23, the Party Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union organized a donation of 25 million VND to Ms. Luong Thi Tinh - a female environmental worker who bravely saved people in the storm that occurred at the end of March.

The funding was mobilized from contributions from organizations, individuals and philanthropists in the area, in order to share some of the difficulties, and at the same time encourage Ms. Tinh to overcome the treatment phase and soon stabilize her health and life.
Previously, on March 29, 2026, while doing garbage collection work in the ward, Ms. Tinh discovered two students had their motorbikes broken by a large tree branch due to a storm, trapped on the side of the road. In a dangerous situation, she did not hesitate to rush forward, trying to pull the tree branch out to rescue the children.
However, during the rescue process, she was unfortunately hit by another branch that suddenly broke and fell, crushing her. The incident caused her to be seriously injured in the face, abdomen and pelvis, and had to be transferred to a central hospital for treatment.

Recognizing the courageous actions and sense of responsibility for the community of Ms. Luong Thi Tinh, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union awarded certificates of merit and timely commendation.
This is not only a worthy recognition for her personally but also contributes to spreading human values and the spirit of mutual affection in society.
Ms. Vuong Thi Anh - Chairwoman of Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union - said that Ms. Tinh's health is gradually stabilizing and is continuing to be monitored and treated.
Local authorities and mass organizations will continue to care, accompany, and support her to soon return to life and work.
