More than 114 million VND to light up 3.2 km of rural roads with 80 solar lights

Vinh Long - Nhuan Phu Tan commune inaugurates 3.2 km long solar power street, contributing to ensuring traffic safety and maintaining security and order.

On August 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhuan Phu Tan commune coordinated with the sponsoring unit to organize the inauguration and handover of the solar lighting project on DX. 04 Tich Khanh - Khanh Thanh road.

The project has a length of 3.2 km, installing 80 sets of 300W solar lights, with an average distance of 40m per bulb. The total implementation cost is more than 114 million VND.

In which, Mr. Ngo Quang Minh, represented by Mr. Ngo Trung Cang, sponsored more than 110.9 million VND. The remaining funding is contributed by local people and labor days to complete the project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Duy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, concurrently Chairman of the Veterans Association of the commune - acknowledged the concern of the sponsor and the consensus of the people.

According to Mr. Le Hoang Duy, the project not only facilitates people's travel and trade but also contributes to improving traffic safety, supporting maintaining security and order, and building a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" road.

The locality requested that after handover, hamlets and people on the road continue to coordinate in managing and protecting the project; regularly clean solar panels, clear green trees that obscure the lights.

The project contributes to mobilizing social resources to join hands in building rural areas, improving travel conditions, and improving the quality of life of local people.

After the ceremony, delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially put the project into use.
