On the morning of September 5, Thoi Thanh Secondary and High School (O Mon Ward, Can Tho City) held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in a bustling and exciting atmosphere.
Attending were Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, President of the City Labor Federation; representatives of the leaders of the government, the Fatherland Front, the local Political Center, a large number of parents, teachers and more than 1,400 students.

Speaking at the ceremony, the school's leaders emphasized that in the 2025-2026 school year, the 2018 General Education Program will continue to be implemented. Accordingly, students are placed in a central position, focusing on practicing thinking skills, cooperation skills, and creativity, instead of machine learning.
The school calls on the teaching staff to promote the spirit of innovation and proactiveness in teaching, and at the same time hopes that parents will accompany their children to avoid putting too much pressure on scores, encouraging students to be proactive and confident in their studies.

Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, President of the City Labor Federation sent congratulations to the school community, acknowledging the school's efforts over the past 5 years when the scale of students has continuously developed and the quality of education has been increasingly affirmed.
At the same time, he suggested that the school's teaching staff should continue to innovate and be creative, each student must be proactive and confident in studying to become knowledgeable, skilled citizens and live responsibly with society.
On the occasion of the new school year, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai presented the school with 500 notebooks and 10 scholarships from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and Can Tho City Lottery State Company Limited.
