On September 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Tra mountainous commune, Da Nang city, said that the unit had just visited and presented 52.65 million VND to support the family of Mr. Ho Van Diem, residing in Tra Han village, to overcome the consequences of the fire.
Previously, on the afternoon of August 26, Mr. Diem's house suddenly caught fire, burning down the entire house and household items, causing the family to fall into difficult circumstances.
Mr. Diem's family has 5 members: 2 spouses and 3 children. Among them, the eldest son is on military service, and there are 2 young children. After the fire, the family has not had the conditions to restore accommodation and stabilize life.
Immediately after the incident, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Tra commune came to encourage and mobilize local forces to support the family to overcome the consequences.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune then issued a letter calling on agencies, units, organizations, individuals and philanthropists to join hands to support. At the end of the campaign, the total amount received was 52.65 million VND and was fully given to Mr. Diem's family.
In addition to the above support, many organizations, charity clubs and philanthropists also directly donated money and gifts to help families soon stabilize their lives.
According to local authorities, due to the very large damage after the fire, Phuoc Tra commune is continuing to connect resources, including requesting support from the Thien Tam Fund and the City Relief Fund to help families have more conditions to overcome the consequences.
