According to a report from the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) from May 11 to May 17, the Standing Committee of the VFF Committee of the province participated in many important political and social activities at the local and central levels, notably the 11th National Congress of the VFF for the term 2026 - 2031 in Hanoi.
During the week, the Standing Committee also participated in working sessions with localities on implementing socio-economic development tasks in 2026; attended the announcement ceremony of Safe Zone communes and wards; youth and workers' programs, reporter contests and many activities related to mass mobilization and social security.
Notably, the Standing Committee coordinated to welcome the working delegation of the Central Vietnam Women's Union and organized the "School Nutrition Meal" program for the 2026 - 2027 school year in Long Hiep commune, supporting 914 primary school students who need semi-boarding meals for 9 months.
According to reports from the Office and specialized departments of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the unit has advised and allocated 800 million VND to build 10 new Great Solidarity houses for households in difficult circumstances in Ben Tre ward. At the same time, it also supported 210 million VND to build and repair 6 houses in many localities in the province.
The Trade Union Affairs Committee, the unit organizing the first meeting of party members who are workers in non-state-owned enterprises in 2026; commending typical party members and developing 237 new union members at Ty Xuan Co., Ltd.

Trade union levels also organized the "Trade Union Meal", "Thank you to workers" programs; established 2 ward trade unions and organized the qualifying round of the Provincial Sports Festival for civil servants, public employees and laborers with 784 athletes participating.
The Farmers' Association Working Committee disbursed 4 loan projects from the Farmers' Support Fund with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND for 50 borrowing households; and at the same time organized training and supported members to develop production in many localities.
The Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee organized a ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho; commended 19 advanced youth following Uncle Ho's words and deployed many activities to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union.
The Women's Affairs Committee coordinated to implement the "School Nutrition Meal" program to support 914 boarding students; and organized MILO Day in many localities with about 2,450 participants.
The Veterans Affairs Committee focuses on propagating policies and laws, preventing epidemics in the rainy and flood season; summarizing the movement "Veterains help each other reduce poverty, do good business" in the 2021 - 2026 period at the grassroots level.
