On April 9, the People's Committee of Da Nang City officially granted OCOP 4 certificates to 11 local products. Notable among them are Nam O fish sauce with two brands Binh Minh and Huong Lang Co crossovers, Phuoc Ha beef sausage, fried mackerel sausage, products from young grapefruit such as whole grapefruit, young grapefruit tea and young grapefruit crispy sticks. In addition, there are handmade products such as Ngu Hanh Sub-Shoes, Ngu Hanh Sub-Shoes, Huong Que Steel and Huong Que High-end Shoes.
Ms. Vu Thi Bich Hau, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City, also acknowledged and praised the continuous efforts of OCOP entities, as well as the active support from local authorities and related departments.
Ms. Hau emphasized: "4,-star OCOP certification is not only a recognition of product quality, but also a motivation for entities to continue investing, improving competitiveness, and aiming for a larger market. Building and developing the OCOP brand is a long journey, requiring perseverance, creativity and tireless efforts. Each OCOP product needs to have its own identity, its own story of the locality, while constantly improving quality, designs and packaging to meet the increasing demands of the market".
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is committed to continuing to accompany entities, research and develop practical support policies, contributing to bringing Da Nang OCOP products further.
With the recognition of 11 more 4-star OCOP products this time, the total number of OCOP products of Da Nang has increased to nearly 150 products. In the coming time, Da Nang will continue to evaluate and classify 24 products from 11 entities, promising to bring more quality products, contributing to affirming the Da Nang OCOP brand on the map of Vietnamese specialties.
