Along with organized activities and events, Ba Ria - Vung Tau tourism industry has many diverse promotions to attract tourists during the low season.

On December 5, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau said that along with exciting events held during the low tourist season at the end of the year, the tourism industry has been launching a series of attractive promotions to attract tourists to the locality.

Previously, the Department of Tourism sent a document to local businesses, calling for the launch of stimulus packages suitable for business activities at the end of the year; and many businesses have responded to the launch of stimulus programs.

Recently, the Department of Tourism continued to issue documents to encourage accommodation businesses to participate in the program of 1,000 rooms priced at 0 VND for tourists and many businesses have registered to participate.

Policies are decided by the business itself, such as renting many rooms and getting one room free; free accommodation for tour guides and drivers..., suitable to the actual operating situation.

At Premier Pearl Vung Tau Hotel, Ms. Helen Nguyen - hotel manager - said that the facility has launched a stimulus package, offering a 20% discount for guests staying until the end of 2024. At the same time, guests will also receive buffet tickets, foot massage tickets, as well as other free privileges and amenities.

"We have just registered to participate in the 1,000-room-for-free-price program promoted by the Department of Tourism. Accordingly, if a group of guests rents 10 rooms, they will receive 1 room for free, along with all other privileges and amenities," said Ms. Helen Nguyen.

In addition, this facility also said that it will participate in the booth at "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024", and use robots to serve tourists and residents when they come to visit and enjoy cuisine at the booth.

Similarly, many other establishments also launched low-season tourism stimulus packages to attract customers, including some places that reduced service prices by up to 65%, along with other incentives on amenities and services.

According to the Department of Tourism, the 1,000-room-at-zero-VND program is a tourism stimulus activity aimed at attracting domestic and international tourists to Ba Ria - Vung Tau at the end of the year.

In addition to cultural and artistic exchange programs, and sports events at the end of the year, this tourist destination is also bustling with a series of activities under the "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024", taking place for 3 days (December 27-29, 2024) in Vung Tau City and Xuyen Moc District.

With the theme "LET'S GO!!! Ba Ria - Vung Tau", a series of notable activities such as spaces, miniatures, hot air balloons for check-in; introducing destinations, cuisine and local OCOP products; beer culture space; "Tuong Ky Mountain Run Challenge 2024" running race along the trail on Lon mountain in Vung Tau city; "Green tourism" pickleball tournament and "Ukbiz cup 2024" golf tournament held in Xuyen Moc district... are expected to attract about 30,000 participants.
