On February 5, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dong Phuc industrial park (Bac Ninh) infrastructure construction and business investment project took place.
Dong Phuc Industrial Park is built in Dong Viet commune and Canh Thuy ward, Bac Ninh province.
According to the plan, Dong Phuc industrial park has a scale of nearly 355 hectares, with a total investment of about 3.7 trillion VND, oriented to develop into a general industrial park, applying modern technology and being environmentally friendly.
Regarding progress, technical infrastructure items in the industrial park are being urgently deployed to soon hand over the site.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the efforts, responsibility, proactiveness, and activeness of the investor, departments, branches, localities and especially the consensus of the people of Canh Thuy ward, Dong Viet commune for the project to be started on schedule.
Also according to Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, the industrial park after completion will not only contribute to completing the province's industrial development space planning but also create new economic development momentum for the region.
At the same time, promote the development of technical, social, service, urban, and auxiliary infrastructure, making positive contributions to the goal of economic growth and ensuring social security of the province.
This is also a strategic step in realizing the goal of making Bac Ninh province one of the modern, green, and sustainable industrial growth poles of the country and the region.
It is known that after the merger, Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks with a total area of more than 10,100 hectares, with a occupancy rate of about 56%.
