Notably, interest rates in July created a new peak with the highest interest rate of 6.2%/year for a 12-month term - an interest rate that has never appeared before with regular deposit items.
Highest interest rate for 1-3 month term
According to Lao Dong's records, as of July 14, at a 1-month term, the highest deposit interest rates currently belong to OCB, Bac A Bank, NCB, MSB with an interest rate of 3.7%/year. Followed by VietBank with a profit rate of 3.6%/year.
At a 3-month term, the highest interest rate is 4.3%/year currently listed by Eximbank. The next highest interest rate is 4.1%/year currently listed by ABBank. The rate of 4.0%/year is listed by NCB.
Highest interest rate for 6-9 month term
For the 6-month term, NCB leads with an interest rate of 5.3%/year.
Next is the profit milestone of 5.3%/year at ABBank. Followed by Eximbank with an interest rate of 5.2%/year.
For the 9-month term, the highest interest rate is 5.7%/year at ABBank, followed by the interest rate of 5.55%/year at NCB, then the interest rate of 5.5%/year, currently listed by BVBank.
Highest interest rate for 12-18-36 month term
For the 12-month term, ABBank continuously jumped to the top after raising interest rates, listing a profit of 6.2%/year for this term. BVBank also jumped to second place after raising interest rates, listing a profit of 5.8%/year for this term.
At the 18-month term, there are currently 3 banks leading together with an interest rate of 6.1%/year: NCB, HDBank and OceanBank. Followed by BVBank with an interest rate of 6.0%/year and GPBank with an interest rate of 5.9%/year.
OceanBank and NCB currently list an interest rate of 6.1%/year for a 36-month term; OCB and BVBank listed a profit of 6.0%/year.
