Unlike in 2024, this fair does not have the presence of the Vietnam Wood and Forestry Products Association (VIFOREST) as co-organizer.
On the morning of February 14, Binh Dinh Wood and Forestry Association (FPA Binh Dinh), Vietnam Wood Industry Fair Joint Stock Company (VIFOREST FAIR) - two units organizing the International Outdoor style Fair in Quy Nhon 2025 - held a press conference, providing information: Q.FAIR 2025 took place in a space of up to 30,000m2 of Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, close to Quy Nhon beach.
The fair displays and introduces "moderate, high-class interior - exterior products and lifestyle" with 1,200 booths (an increase of 20% compared to 2024) of more than 100 enterprises around the world.
Binh Dinh is one of the leading outdoor production centers in Vietnam, where nearly 250 enterprises converge, mainly concentrated in Phu Tai and Long My industrial parks (Quy Nhon city).
According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Dinh, in the first 11 months of 2024, the value of raw wood exports of the province reached 314.9 million USD, an increase of 113.3 million USD over the same period last year.
FPA Binh Dinh Chairman and Head of the Organizing Committee ofFAIR 2025 Le Minh Thien said: FAIR is an annual event, held in early March every year. This is the most important event in the export promotion and investment attraction activities of the Binh Dinh wood industry; helping businesses expand the market, connect with new partners, and improve competitiveness".
As an important trade bridge, Q.FAIR not only promotes trade promotion activities between domestic and international enterprises but also contributes to expanding the supply chain, increasing export value, actively contributing to the economic growth of Binh Dinh as well as the whole country.
Q.FAIR 2025 is known to introduce hundreds of product designs with many styles accompanied by many modern equipment and machines; accessories, stone materials, clouds, bamboo, leather, plastic, wood, iron... and more than 30 wooden house models with different decoration styles compared to other international fairs.
According to the Organizing Committee's plan, Q.FAIR 2025 will welcome more than 15,000 international visitors from 40 countries and territories, creating a solid foundation for connecting domestic enterprises with global partners.
Responding to a question from Lao Dong reporter about the lack of co-organization role of the Vietnam Wood and Forestry Association at the fair and the arrest of VIFOREST Chairman Do Xuan Lap at the end of last year for gambling that affected the stature of the event as well as cooperation, especially from international partners, Head of the Organizing Committee of Q.FAIR 2025 Le Minh Thien said:
"Mr. Lap's problem is a personal problem, not affecting the entire wood industry. Preparations for the fair have been going on for a long time, with the participation of 5 associations. Each association and each president takes on a separate role. The incident happened, so it did not affect the general flow of the engine. Not only in Quy Nhon, but also fairs in Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City.
Export activities and international cooperation relationships are not affected at all".
