On June 27, the Conference announcing the Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050 and investment promotion with the theme "Dak Lak - Potential, aspirations for development" was held.
Mr. Do Huu Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that this is an important event, marking a new step in the local development after planning adjustment, opening up a new development space.
In the new development phase, the province orients to form three linkage spaces.
The western region is a driving force for high-tech agriculture, processing industry, renewable energy, border gate economy; it is a place to develop key agricultural products such as coffee, pepper, rubber, durian, macadamia and fruit trees.
The Eastern region opens up a space for marine economic development with nearly 190 km of coastline, Vung Ro - Bai Goc port system, Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone and potential for industrial, logistics, seaport service, tourism and coastal urban development.
In particular, Bai Goc deep-water port is oriented to become an important import and export gateway, connecting the Central Highlands with international shipping routes.
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that the connection between the raw material area, urban - service center and marine economic space will help the locality form a value chain from production, processing, logistics to export in a unified development space.
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee affirmed that planning only promotes value when effectively organized and implemented.
Therefore, the locality identifies administrative reform and improvement of the investment and business environment as key tasks.
With the viewpoint of "taking people and businesses as the center of service", the province focuses on innovating management methods, promoting digital transformation, enhancing the responsibility of cadres and civil servants, and reducing time and costs for implementing administrative procedures.
To achieve the goal of double-digit economic growth in the coming period, the province has established an Economic Growth Steering Committee headed by the Provincial Party Secretary; and at the same time established 4 Task Forces headed by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of each field, area and key project.
The province also implements the "Green Channel" mechanism in resolving administrative procedures for key investment projects such as industrial park infrastructure, logistics, housing, energy and projects with a total investment capital of over 800 billion VND.
Mr. Do Huu Huy emphasized that Dak Lak is committed to ensuring a stable and transparent investment environment; continuing to promote administrative reform; accompanying businesses throughout the project life cycle; proactively creating clean land funds, accelerating site clearance and maintaining regular dialogue with the business community.
