Overview of the market
According to Lao Dong, yesterday's session (11.3) the market improved from the beginning of the session thanks to low demand, helping the VN-Index reverse positively. The index closed at the highest level of the session, reaching 1,332.5 points, up 2.3 points (+0.17%) and recovered nearly 12 points from the lowest level. On the HOSE floor, the market width is differentiated with 231 stocks increasing and 247 stocks decreasing.
The VN30 (+0.18%), VNMidcap (+0.31%) and VNSmallcap (+0.26%) indices agreed to increase their scores.
Construction & Materials, Banking, Steel - Marble, Real Estate, Securities, Retail and Rubber groups became the main pillars for the market. Many stocks such as CTI, HTN, HVN, DGW, VPB, IJC, VCG, VND recorded breakthroughs in price and liquidity.
On the contrary, the Information Technology, Insurance and Petroleum groups are under pressure to adjust. Major stocks such as FPT (-1.3%), BVH (-2.3%), BSR (-1.5%) traded cautiously.
Market liquidity remained stable with the transaction value matched at 18.9 trillion VND. Foreign investors reduced net sales to 215 billion VND, focusing on MSN (-86 billion VND), FPT (-78 billion VND), DGC (-67 billion VND). On the contrary, VHM (+98 billion VND), EIB (+83 billion VND), CTG (+58 billion VND) attracted foreign capital.

Taking advantage of the increase to make a profit, holding good domestic corporate stocks
According to Kien Thiet Vietnam Securities Company (CSI), the positive trend of the VN-Index may continue, with the expectation of heading towards the resistance level of 1,360-1,365 points. However, at the present time, a reasonable strategy is still to take advantage of the uptrends to make a profit rather than opening new buying positions. New buybacks, if any, should only be made in small quantities, prioritizing stocks that have just broken out of accumulation.
AIS Securities Company assessed today's trading session as a positive shaken, with demand quickly absorbing the selling pressure at the beginning of the session, helping the index recover. This development shows that cash flow is ready to return when the market adjusts to an attractive price range. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to increase, with the nearest target being 1,370 points (Fibonacci Extension 50%).
Investors are advised to focus on corporate stocks with good internal foundations and positive business prospects. For a short-term strategy, it is possible to consider taking profits in the resistance zone for stocks with signs of weakening.
