On June 25, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a decision approving the plan to select a contractor for the Resettlement Area project to serve the site clearance of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway, Cao Loc district.
According to the decision, the project will implement a total of 13 packages, with a total value of more than 261 billion VND, from the state budget and other legal capital sources.
Of which, the largest package is the EC ( design - construction - equipment installation) package worth more than 254 billion VND, implemented in the form of open domestic bidding via the network, expected to start from the third quarter of 2025, with a implementation period of 9 months.
In addition, the plan also includes consulting packages such as: preparing bidding documents, appraising contractor selection results, monitoring surveys, supervising construction and installing equipment; technical packages such as drilling and exploring water resources, clearing bombs and mines, converting forest land use purposes and independent audits.
Most of the packages are implemented in the form of shortened bidding in a short period of 1 to 2 months, to ensure the progress of site clearance and construction of the expressway.
The People's Committee of Cao Loc district is assigned to be the investor and is responsible for organizing the selection of contractors in accordance with legal regulations. The provincial Department of Finance and relevant agencies are responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation process.
The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway Project is an important part of the Bac Giang - Lang Son - Huu Nghi Expressway, playing a role in promoting socio-economic development and enhancing trade connections at the northern border gateway.
