Masan Group's MSN shares were strongly sold by foreign investors

In the session on 7.2, the stock market recorded a remarkable development regarding MSN shares of Masan Group Joint Stock Company (Masan Group, HOSE: MSN), with the appearance of many major agreements on This stock. Accordingly, the total transfer agreement reached 13.3 million units, mostly made at the ceiling price, with a total value of over 955 billion dong.

The seller is mainly foreign investors, while the buyer is domestic investors. Generally, the foreign investors net sold approximately 900 billion dong on MSN, becoming the most net selling stock code on the market during the day.

At the end of the weekend session, MSN market price stopped at VND 67,700/share, an increase of VND 300, equivalent to 0.4% compared to the reference level.

Regarding the business situation, the newly published financial statements show that Masan Group recorded positive results with both revenue and profit growth compared to the previous year.

Accordingly, MSN's net revenue in 2024 reached VND 83,177 billion, an increase of 6% compared to 2023. Financial activities also recorded an increase of 68%, reaching 4,043 billion VND, while interest expenses tended to tend to coin decrease direction. As a result, Masan's consolidated profit before tax reached VND 6,024 billion, an increase of 2.3 times compared to the previous year.

Notably, earlier this year, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan Group - returned to the list of USD billionaires according to Forbes data. As of 7.2, Mr. Quang's assets were estimated at 1 billion USD.
