Recently, on social networking platforms, a Facebook account named "Jonny Lieu" and a Zalo account "Ngan Tech" have appeared posting information related to pork and chicken products after slaughter of CP. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company in Soc Trang province.
Regarding this information, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company has issued an official announcement, affirming that this is untrue information. This information not only seriously affects the reputation and image of the company but also creates confusion and concern in the community and consumers.
"All content posted by the above accounts shows signs of defamation, intentionally damaging the reputation and operations of the company. The images attached to the articles are of unknown origin, the time and location cannot be determined and are absolutely not product images of the company" - CP. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company informed.
This unit affirmed that all products strictly comply with veterinary control and quality control processes, ensuring adequate food hygiene and safety standards according to current regulations.
In response to this incident, the company is actively coordinating with authorities to clarify and handle it in accordance with legal regulations, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the business, while strictly handling slander and reporting false information.
Soc Trang Police are also verifying information accusing this distribution system of selling dirty meat, causing concerns about food safety.
