Mineral company in Lao Cai suspended for 4.5 months, fined 320 million VND

    Lao Cai - Vietnam Green Energy Mineral Joint Stock Company was fined VND320 million for not having an Environmental License.

    On July 18, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the unit has just issued a document to sanction administrative violations against Vietnam Green Energy Mineral Joint Stock Company headquartered in the Southern Industrial Park, Van Phu commune, Yen Bai city, Yen Bai province (now Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province).

    Accordingly, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee fined Vietnam Green Energy Mineral Joint Stock Company 320 million VND for the company's administrative violation: Not having an Environmental License for a project subject to an environmental license as prescribed.

    In addition, this enterprise was suspended from operation of the waste generating source without an environmental license of the Yen Bai Black Stone Processing Factory, White stone powder and Green Energy Suppressor Project under Vietnam Green Energy Mineral Joint Stock Company for a period of 4.5 months.

    The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requested Vietnam Green Energy Mineral Joint Stock Company to strictly comply with the penalty decision.

    If the unit fails to voluntarily comply within the deadline, it will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.
