Dak Lak improves investment environment, promotes business development

Dak Lak is promoting administrative procedure reform, improving the investment environment to create favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.

On May 16, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee organized the "Business Coffee" program with the participation of provincial leaders, representatives of departments, branches and a large number of businesses in the area to listen to and remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities.

At the program, Mr. Le Duc Huy - Chairman of the Member Council of 2-9 Dak Lak Import-Export Co., Ltd. said that state-owned enterprises need to closely link with other economic sectors to create resources and build a synchronous production ecosystem.

According to Mr. Huy, Dak Lak has a lot of potential to develop deep coffee processing and high-tech agriculture, but has not yet formed a strong enough ecosystem to effectively exploit this advantage.

Mr. Le Duc Huy also proposed that the locality orient itself to become the fruit center of the Asian region. At the same time, promote the construction of digital agricultural maps to control planting area codes, transparent input data and improve the competitiveness of exported agricultural products.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the number of newly established businesses has not yet met expectations.

Therefore, the province will continue to improve the investment environment, promote administrative procedure reform and create favorable conditions for business development.

Provincial leaders also encourage large enterprises to support and connect with small businesses to gradually develop into well-organized enterprises, operating stably and sustainably.

Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that the locality is drastically implementing the goal of reducing 50% of processing time and 50% of administrative procedure compliance costs for businesses and people; and at the same time strictly handling the situation of harassment and causing trouble in resolving dossiers.

Investors and businesses coming to Dak Lak only need to register directly, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will focus on directing quick resolution. Departments, branches and professional staff must create maximum favorable conditions for businesses," Mr. Do Huu Huy affirmed.

The province will continue to publicly and transparently disclose project information, investment procedures and processes; and at the same time propose that the business community be grouped by scale and field of operation to strengthen linkages, mutual support and build appropriate development strategies.

The locality is preparing to organize an investment promotion conference to introduce a list of investment attraction projects for the period 2026 - 2030.

The list includes 219 projects with a total estimated investment capital of about 789. 315 billion VND. Including 47 renewable energy projects; 35 industrial park, seaport and logistics infrastructure projects; 45 agricultural, processing industry and commercial service projects along with many projects in the fields of urban, tourism, health, education and information technology...
