On March 24, Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to deploy the plan to organize the province's investment and tourism promotion conference in 2026.
According to the plan, the conference is expected to take place in 2 days (from May 5-6), with the theme "Dien Bien - Strategic destination for investment and tourism development".
The expected number of guests is about 1,000 people, including about 600 official delegates; the escort and service department is about 400 people.

Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong said that the 2026 investment and tourism promotion conference is a meaningful activity, contributing to promoting the province's potential, advantages, and investment environment.
Mr. Luong also proposed to promote propaganda and diversify communication channels to spread the image of Dien Bien, a potentially rich, friendly and attractive destination for investors and tourists.
Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee expects that through the conference, strategic investors will be attracted, new linkage chains will be formed, contributing to promoting the development of the private economy.
