Gia Lai - After the rainy and storm season, Gia Lai Electricity organizes bidding for many power projects, materials, and equipment for major network repairs.

On April 19, news from Gia Lai Power Company said that the rainy and storm season at the end of 2025 caused damage to the power grid infrastructure in many areas. In 2026, along with mobilizing people to save electricity during the peak heat season, the unit organized bidding for many large projects.

Accordingly, Gia Lai Power Company poured billions of VND to repair a series of transformers in the west and east of Gia Lai; and at the same time bid to supply low-voltage and medium-voltage power cables, underground cables, centrifugal concrete poles... to serve production, business and major repairs.

Notably, in the low-voltage power cable package for installing meters, Ngoc Lan Production Co., Ltd. won the bid (value of nearly 10 billion VND); however, the bid price reduction rate was 0%, and only 1 contractor participated.

In the medium-voltage cable supply package with a value of 12.899 billion VND, this enterprise also won the bid for copper-coated cable products; however, the bid price reduction rate is also 0%.

In addition, Gia Lai Power Company also organized a plan to select contractors to supply electricity to Tay Xuan Industrial Cluster and Ray Ong Tho Industrial Cluster. These new industrial clusters will create more production motivation, create jobs for workers in the area, meeting the province's growth requirement of over 10%.

To improve operation management efficiency and ensure stable power supply, Gia Lai Power is promoting periodic inspections, technical management, and tightening operation to stabilize power supply for more than 1 million customers.

With more than 1,233 km of 110 kV lines, 59 110 kV substations, nearly 8,750 km of medium voltage lines and more than 10,626 km of low voltage lines, Gia Lai's electricity industry is promoting digitalization, applying flycams, thermal cameras...
