For Tet days, salaries will be multiplied according to regulations.

At the ITADA Spicy Figs system (Mac Thien Tich branch, Can Tho City), the seasonal personnel demand for each Tet season usually increases by about 70%. Ms. Ha Thi Cam Nhung - System Manager - shared that the unit is in need of recruiting about 60 personnel with increased daily wages. Especially, on peak days (from the 29th to the 4th day of Tet), the salary can be up to 40,000 VND/hour with a meal package. For personnel who want to stick with them for a long time, the salary offered is 6.5 million VND/month (staying no more than 2 days/month).
Taking advantage of his free time from now until the 2026 Lunar New Year, student Vo Quoc Bao (Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City), is looking for a seasonal position with a suitable working environment and schedule. In particular, this male student's biggest priority is an income of about 7 million VND/month (including overtime) to have more expenses for Tet.
Avoid the trap of "light jobs with high salaries
Through a survey by the Can Tho City Employment Service Center (DVVL), currently, the demand for labor recruitment of businesses in the area is tending to increase, especially at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. Among businesses in need of recruitment, many units are having high demand for seasonal positions such as sales staff, security guards, cashiers, delivery staff, waitresses, kitchen assistants...
On that basis, the Center has promoted supply-demand connection solutions to support and meet the needs of businesses and workers; at the same time, avoiding the situation of bad actors taking advantage of and implementing the "light jobs with high salaries" trap.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chung - Deputy Director of Can Tho City DVVL Center - informed that the Center regularly surveys and forecasts the labor market; promotes the connection and support of businesses and workers in many forms; organizes mobile job transaction sessions at schools and localities to connect jobs and bring official and unofficial information for workers looking for jobs with employers in need.
To support workers far from the city to access job information, the Center has implemented online information channels of the unit on electronic information portals and social network platforms. At the same time, at job transaction events, the Center also arranges computers and online connections between workers and businesses through support software.
