Initial information, the fire broke out from a seafood kiosk in Xanh market, then spread to many neighboring kiosks.
Ms. An Phuong, a witness at the scene, said that the fire broke out fiercely, and spread quickly with many loud explosions.
At this time, strong winds caused the fire to flare up more strongly.
There were kiosks selling clothes and fabric in the market, so the fire quickly spread, creating a large column of smoke.

After receiving the report, many fire trucks and officers and soldiers were mobilized to the scene to perform fire fighting and rescue tasks.
As of 6:30 a.m. at the scene, fire fighting was still being carried out by the authorities.
This area has now been cut off from power to carry out fire fighting and rescue work. Many surrounding households had to evacuate their belongings.
It is known that the Green Market where the fire occurred had an area of 2,800 m2 with more than 100 kiosks. Many of these kiosks were completely burned down.
Initially, the authorities determined that the fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being counted.
