Enterprises in Lao Cai fined 70 million VND for failing to get construction permit

Lao Cai - Hoa Binh Minh Corporation Limited was fined 70 million VND by the Lao Cai Provincial Department of Construction for not carrying out procedures to adjust the construction permit.

The Department of Construction of Lao Cai province has just decided to administratively sanction Hoa Binh Minh Corporation Limited (located in Yen Bai ward, Lao Cai province, authorized representative is Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Hong Lan).

According to the authorities, enterprises that have built works subject to the requirement to prepare feasibility study reports or economic - technical reports on construction investment but do not adjust construction permits when there are changes.

This behavior violates the provisions of Clause 3, Article 16 of Decree 16/2022/ND-CP of the Government.

According to the decision of the Department of Construction, the enterprise was fined in cash with a total of 70 million VND.

The company is responsible for paying the fine to the State Treasury of Region IX, Lao Cai province according to the instructions in the penalty decision.

If the deadline is exceeded but the enterprise does not voluntarily comply, the enterprise will be forced to comply and must pay an additional 0.05% of the fine for each late payment day.
