On June 29, Southern Power Corporation held a preliminary review of the regulations for coordination of site clearance for 110kV power grid projects in Ben Tre province.
According to the report of Southern Power Corporation, by the end of June 2025, Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) has completed the energization of 4 large projects with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND, including: Phu Thuan 110kV transformer station, An Hiep 110kV station, Giao Long - Phu Thuan line and the route from Ben Tre 220kV station to An Hiep.
These projects play an important role in ensuring a stable power source for the province's two key industrial parks and supporting investment attraction in coastal districts.
At the conference, the Southern Power Corporation and the People's Committee of Ben Tre province signed an agreement to implement the remaining contents in the site clearance work after July 1, 2025. The remaining problems are concentrated mainly in some communes of Binh Dai, Ba Tri, Thanh Phu districts and Ben Tre city, expected to be completed in July 2025. Strive to complete all 110kV power grid projects in the third quarter of this year.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc - General Director of EVNSPC, affirmed that Ben Tre is a locality with great development potential. EVNSPC always prioritizes investing in modernizing the power grid, ensuring safe and stable power supply to serve socio-economic development.
"Thanks to close coordination with the province, especially in site clearance, many 110kV power projects have been completed on schedule. EVNSPC is committed to continuing to allocate resources and accompany the locality in the new development stage," Mr. Duc added.

Also at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh - Vice Chairman of Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the effective coordination between the province and Southern Power Corporation in implementing 110kV power grid projects, especially in the transition period after the merger.
He emphasized that the early completion of projects not only ensures a stable power source for socio-economic development, attracting investment but also contributes to improving the quality of life, especially in coastal districts.
"The province requests departments, branches and localities to continue to closely coordinate with the electricity sector to speed up site clearance, ensuring progress and efficiency of projects," Mr. Canh added.
